Wicklow Way....the
last two thirds

You might be
wondering why I have a picture of Riverdance to start this
story...but it began in Killarney. I arrived a day early my son and
walking companion for the trip,
Rob, arranged for me to watch the show at the INEC....which was
fantastic. Before loafing in the Brehon Hotel for the next 20 hours until
Rob was
ready to leave. The Brehon is designed
for a DB like me.... great place....and very friendly staff. Also the picture below comes from my early morning walk around the Lakes in Killarney. Absolutely nothing to do with the trip?...well perhaps it was, I think we both came to the conclusion, pleasant though the Wicklow Way was, Kerry had the edge. Visit both and decide for yourself, the bit we did lacked the Wow factor. But it was still great to spend four days walking, talking ....and drinking with Rob. |
