Looking towards Malham Tarn
Malham Cove Pen-y-ghent

Apart from walking the Dales Way I have made several trips to The Yorkshire dales since becoming a DB, its a wonderful place. The last walking was in sub zero temperatures in November, before a painting course at Malham Tarn with Margaret Uttley...the sun shone for the walk, if not the course.

I also did my first hill climb in years up to the top of Pen-y-ghent joining up with Paul a professional outdoor instructor, taking a day off. Needless to say I let him navigate, Apart from no coffee shops & a very short snow storm it was a great walk, variety, sun, good conversation & great scenery. Pity about the demoralising affect of a hill runner
