Madrid and I met by chance. On the way back from walking the Via de la Plata, Jim and I had a day and a half to spare, so we skimmed the sites.

My favourites were the modernised Cathedral ....really brave work, brilliantly executed and the Museo Reina Sofía, Queen Sofia Museum, where Picasso's Guernica painting is held. If you are passing through Madrid....worth a look.
