Two lovely weeks arround the Swiss / Italian Lakes. Mostly  Lakes Lagano, Como and Maggiore, with Lake Lucerne thrown in.
Fantastic weather, crazy roads and drivers....another little corner B.G and D'd.
(If you query Lake Lucernes place in this grouping, let me help.... its a lake and in Switzerland.)

Our apartment was on the lake side at San Mamete 3 miles inside the Italian border on Lake Lagano just to the left of the speedboat in the LH picture above....http://www.sanmamete.com/sanmamete.htm
The village consisted of one hotel with great, but expensive, restaurant... three bars & 50 banks. The place will be a lot better when they have completed the tunnel to remove the traffic...but great views from the apartment.
