The picture above is of the bus that took me from Salamanca to El Cubo. I make no apologies for missing out the 30 odd Km that was between a motorway and on a busy main road. If you are having a problem with this, get over it and move on....But all my distances quoted are the ones I walked. The good news is my walk was very pleasant in a wood, then along rolling countryside.

This ruined monastery in the village was fascinating and had in its life time had many uses.
