It is sad to say that the days Jim was with me the scenery moved from pleasantly OK to pleasantly boring, fortunately Jim's conversation saved the day. The highlight of the day was a reservoir built by the Romans....the low point is there was no bars open for a CCL. Few photos but the first day ended with a pleasant meal with a Norwegian couple. Eirik & his wife who's name we did not get. |

The next day did not get better for scenery, added to the fact it was cold ....it could have been a better day on the Camino. We stayed in an Alburge within a monastery with two man rooms, the evening meal was surprisingly good. The village was dead, but this could have been due to the drizzle which was setting in. |

On the painting sales front, I had some good news from UK as we were in the bar sinking a glass of wine..... I had just sold one of my abstracts.....so we disposed of the bottle. It is fair to say I was an absolute pain in the arse with Jim, celebrating this unexpected win. The shame is that the picture was a 'one off' |
