After a CCL + C & ZN (see previous trips to get the abbreviations sorted out ) at a bar by the hotel. I left bright and early.....the sun does not come up until 7.45. The hinterland to the city is OK. I was to enjoy a coffee in a village mid morning, later on I realised this was an unusual 'thrill' that was not going to happen again for a long time. |

The warm afternoon was spent walking down a long.....hard surfaced track, with the exception of a ford you could say it was a tad boring, but being the first day it did not matter, and the spring flowers were cheerful. The night was spent in a grim bar / hotel. The municipal alburge was full....only 8 beds and the 'new' building did not look as though it had been touched for a few years. The 'Pilgrim' meal lived up to my low expectations. |

Guillena was my first small town in this part of Spain. The houses were mostly white and it boasted three flood lit football pitches. |
