It was
very cold as I left the village in the dark, but eventually we had a
great sunrise, the first half of the day was taken up walking under
trees like the previous 6 weeks
(it seemed that long, but perhaps it
was only 3 or 4 days)
Today's change was
that we
have moved from wheat to corn, and interesting irrigation
systems....as well as tractors. Apart from that there is not a lot
more to add in the way of words or pictures.
The evening was given
some light relief as I met Denise from Vancouver, a happy and witty
lady...but with a good insight into the human condition. We meet briefly in the dark early in the morning, while I was doing
my 4Km fast warm-up march. Also again in the evening at the Albergue,
where after fortifying ourselves with CCL+SB and beer we shared a
home cooked meal. |
