Calzadilla de la Cueza  to Sahagún - 20Km

This morning's journey started with clear  black skies and a host of stars. Regrettably as the sun rose it turned into a dark mist, without the fun of previous days. So the walk was very much a task....no SB at my coffee stop, how bad can it get? I arrived in Sahagún just as the sun was pushing through and stayed at a great private Albergue.

The sleeping quarters were sub-divide cubicles in what looked to be an ex-commercial garage. It slept 100 but there looked to be only about 20 inmates, so I had a cubicle to myself. Not only did it cover its computer in a Scallop Shell wooden case we had hot showers and kitchen, what more can a 'grim want.

After showering and clothes washing.....the reason for the smiling laundry man above, is getting your clothes dry is one of the three daily challenges and I was so pleased to have got pole position on the clothes line with my stuff.

After a walk round town with an abortive photo session, CCL + SB etc. plus a chat to various 'grim pals I headed back to the Albergue to cook supper. As I was wandering over to the kitchen when Pia, a Swedish cellist offered to share her meal...spaghetti + a great sauce... as she had a small surplus. I threw in my mega cream SB and we shared an evening of pleasant and interesting conversation

My tractor needs are dealt with ...I find this mini tractor on the back streets of Sahagun.
