I rushed to Carrion in the breaking light to get some breakfast...first class CCL + SB, but we have now added Zumo de Naranja...freshly squeezed orange juice, after an hours walking in the cold....absolute magic.

I hung around the town for the shops to open for some bread, cheese and bananas (my staple diet)....the cheese even owned up to being 'part processed'.

After my shopping expedition I struck out for a happy day on the Meseta, I include the photos, which you might think a tad boring, believe me walking four hours with these surroundings certainly stretches your 'I Spy' game. In my case my knowledge of tractors and ploughing has come on a treat, but I was developing an unhealthy interest in tractor types.

On the plus side the weather was perfect 22c and sun. Chomping the bread and processed cheese was the highlight of the day's walk.
