I set off from the hotel at 7.30 in the dark + rain which continued on in a half-hearted sort of way until noon. We are now moving into the area of the Meseta a large plain that will be my companion for the next 200Km. At coffee time I meet up with Lisa a German Sports Physiologist....and keen photographer, later we are joined by Olaf.

Reaching Hornillos del Camino (I have this theory the longer the name the smaller the place) the rain disappears and the sun shines. We book into the Albergue which soon fills up plus the overflow rooms. I plan to eat in the bar but because of confusion over times this does not happen, but I am introduced into the delights of dehydrated pasta with built in sauce. As Ana said, a meal for 1.25 Euros.... a bargain.
