The Road to Canterbury Home A Pilgrim?

Dave Honeyset a colleague from my past days in Kodak joined me for this journey to link Rochester to Canterbury. The whole process of 5 walks took a year and a half. The journey might have lacked 'great' countryside...& on a few occasions decent weather, but all this was made up of the great chat. During the time Dave's work life changed from working for the photofinishing side of Kodak to the Medical Division which was eventually sold off.... but from Dave's perspective it could not have worked out better.

We arrived in Canterbury on a hot spring Saturday, thick in tourists. After we had inspected the HO Cathedral of the C  of E.... not to mention the scene of Beckets murder, we bought an Ice Cream & walked the extensive city walls to the station. After a year of not achieving a Cathedral at least I can notch one up this year (+Santiago de Compostela we hope!)
