After a hard day on the Appalachian Trail and watching football it was a good move to get to a quite guest house under pilot mountain. Great views, great breakfast followed by a day visiting the North Carolina Vineyards. It is fair to say they are comparatively new to the world of winemaking but I am sure they will get there... wherever 'there' is. On the way up the mountain we enjoyed the site of Eagles (they looked like an Eagle to me.... but who knows) riding the thermals. There are also moths that take over trees with their cocoons, fascinating until you get one in your own garden. http://www.blackwolfvineyards.com/
